A Debate on the Internationalist Discussion Network
on the Role of the Unions

The exchanges below comprise a discussion which took place on the Internationalist Discussion Network in March and April 2011.

The discussion began after Loren Goldner aannounced a new issue of Insurgent Notes contained articles dealing with the events in Wisconsin. Mac Intosh of Internationalist Perspective responded to the notice, adding critical comments on the role of the unions in this struggle. Will Barnes who had written a lengthy report on the same topic took issue with Mac Intosh's comments and a discussuino begna.

While the debate is primarily between Barnes and Mac Intosh, other IDN members including Loren Goldner, Gifford Hartman and Sander (from IP) contributed.
